2 year deployment is too long. 6 months to 12 months is common. Remote assignments are often shorter, depending on the location. I never met a gal who'd wait a week. much less 2 years for schlong.

Trust me, y'all, two years is WAY too long, but it happens. When they actually get stationed over there, and aren't married, they can't bring partners along.

It's definitely not because he sees action over there with other women, it's because (other than a short leave, 1 year through) he hasn't been able to feel his partner for the majority of two years, and he wants her, in a hungry way. He knows her desires, they flirted with them lightly before he left. She still sends him enticing emails and images, and he can imagine giving her what she so badly wants
