Okay there are no dumb questions but some like mine are close.

I have searched far and wide so a few questions????????

How do I add an avatar photo?
I lost the location on my profile page. I think we have enough posts to qualify now.

Second where in the world is the STORY area with the list of topics?

I also was there but now i'm lost. Help find me!

Next can I add actual photos to my posts or do I still have to use the links?

I never said we were smart, just kinky!

Any help is greatly appreciated. If this is not the correct place to ask dumb questions send me there!

As for attaching photos to your Posts. In the Attach Files section under the edit box, click the Manage Attachments button. Then follow the directions in the popup dialog box. But vBulletin software will not display the picture automatically. It will put a link in your post that will open another tab/page/window to display the image.

You can add an tag to display the image in the post.

All that's left is maybe find an editor to suggest where to post the title and go from there.
Adding photos will come as I figure that out.

Finally found some nice helpful members willing to teach old dogs new tricks.

The url is were you go if you click on the link...by placing the link between the img tags, it will display in the post like this...

Hang on... one of us may be getting hung up on the jargon. And it could be me.

IF you are talking about putting your avatar on the left by your posts, that can be done when you reach 100 posts. Note that this means responses to threads in the open forums, Private Messages do not count towards this total. Nor do submissions or comments on the stories pages. ONLY responses here in these forums, in open forum, count towards your 100 tally.

The link Hypoxia sent was to be able to read stories posted on Literotica.com. You could also get to the main page by clicking the link on the bottom right of this page or by typing "literotica.com" into your web browser. But, I don't think this is what you mean by what you typed.

On your Literotica.com members control panel is a place you can hit submit to get your stories to Laurel for her to decide if she wants to put them up or not. If you don't already go past that screen to get to the boards, the only way I know to get you there is via this page and on the second line where it says "this link" in blue will take you to your control panel. ER... I think. That's the page I have bookmarked, my control panel, and where I enter Lit from.

If you go to 'Control Panel' top left of your screen, then 'edit options' on the left hand side. On the next page is a list of options. Under 'miscellaneous' near the bottom is 'message editor interface.' If you click the arrow for the drop-down menu, you can then select 'standard editor - extra formatting controls.'

Once you do this, when you make posts or send messages you will have buttons above the text box where you type. There's a landscape icon that will insert a linked image for you (as opposed to uploaded and attached). It will insert the codes for you. It is handy to see the codes pop up in the text box, so you can learn how the vbulletin forum software does things. Hope that's useful. :rose:
