Story idea based on the Movie Desperado.

I have this story idea based on the 1995 movie Desperado starring sexy Latin Actor Antonio Banderas.

But instead of male gun for hire with a guitar case full of firepower the lead character in my story is a hot sexy woman who has a guitar case full of weaponry.

Now the dimension's of the guitar case I want to use in my story are 42 inches by 19 inches by 4 inches so it can hold a lot of firepower.

my problem is I don't know what kind weapons to put into my characters guitar case because my gun knowledge is very limited, But I know that I don't want to put a lot of guns in their though, because it would be way to heavy for her to carry around.

Now I have studied the original movie frame by frame piece by piece and I have studied the different guns that are in that case but its not helping because my gun knowledge is limited, so my fellow discussion board members help one of your fellow writers out so I can write this story and get it posted here.

Honestly just google up some guns. The reality is that the people who know fire arms well enough to know that such and such wouldn't fit in your guitar case are gonna find something wrong no matter what you do. These are the people who if you were talking about cars would rip you to shreds because the '67 Ford whatever didn't come in Aquamarine, had some unique engine never seen from again. Or they'll pick apart your fight scenes because such and such is not efficient. Or that nobody would name drop Obama in 2007.

You'd be surprised what could fit in a guitar case.

But you may need a porter or pack mule to schlep a loaded git-fiddle case. Those Glocks and alley-sweepers and their ammo have some heft. They're worse than Hasselblads.

Another factor of realism would be weight. Put a lot of guns and ammunition in a case its going to be heavy.

I'm a fan of that movie, but fact was it is a shut the brain down and roll with it flick so not a great example.

NorCalCumCannon: Thank you i can use all the help i can get for this project.

Hypoxia: Thank you for the starting point it is really quite helpful.

Glocks are actually pretty light
Yeah, I should have said Colts.

Hey, didn't the last MAD MAX flick (which I ain't seen) feature an electric guitar / flamethrower? Anyway, guitars are bulky; mandolins and 'ukuleles are much more convenient and can easily contain tasers, lasers, poison darts, pellets, etc. Somebody used to make a line of electric 'ukes with a .50-cal shell as the bridge -- with unfortunate results when one shell wasn't completely emptied of powder. But I digress. Gangsters used to keep their Tommyguns in violin cases, right? Let's have mandolin cases inspire the same fear.

I've never seen the new Mad Max movie

And yeah, Tommy Guns fit in violin cases. They also have a brief case you can fit an MP-5K in

Not with the drum magazine they don't and lets face it, it's not a Tommy Gun without the drum magazine.

An M16 weighs about 9 lbs loaded. 2 of it being the magazine. So without straining reality at all you can have one and say five clips and still just kinda toss it around. A pair of handguns and you're still talking below 30lbs. To much higher than that (and for a woman assuming we're talking between 100-130 lbs) and you're starting to wander into it's no fun to lug around all the time.

The drum fits, I've seen it. And it's still a Tommy Gun. They were used with 20 round stick magazines all throughout World War 2.

That would also be 5 magazines by the way. 9 pounds is like a Les Paul or a solid body bass

You can’t do better than Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek unless you have someone like Catherine Zita-Jones and Salma Hayek.

Oh, I dunno.

:D

I doubt that woman is a mere 130 lbs but yes there are always beasts. If you told me Brock Lesnar could keep a tank in his pocket I wouldn't doubt it. :D

Thank you for all of your help so far now if I may give a little bit of backround on my character and some more information on the guitar case I am using for the story.

First she Is 5 feet 7 inches tall 125 pounds in body weight she has an athletic body type and is former military after the service she was secretly recruited by a secret organization that is part of the U.S. Government.

And she does special things for this organization black ops type's of thing's very hush hush.

Now for the guitar case it will fit a full length fixed stock M16 or AR-15 but aside from a few extra magazines that is all that will fit inside of it.

So if she takes a long gun it's over all length will have to be very short and it has to have an adjustable stock.

All in turns of handguns she carries one but not in the case she carries in a special hoster that is attached to her panties. It also is large enough to hold spare ammunition and a silencer, just in case she has to shoot at close range with out attracting attention to what she is doing.

or she has to shoot her way out and she does not want to draw attention to herself when she is trying to get the hell out of dodge.

I recall an internet image of a heroine with a prosthetic leg that's a machine gun. That's much simpler than lugging around an instrument case filled with weapons. Give her some loaded fingers, maybe a fuckfinger that shoots poison darts, and she's in like Flynn.

But suppose she DOES schlep a firearm-filled instrument. At least it's usually filled with weapons. Some nefarious rival does a switcheroo on her. Now the git-fiddle case is filled with... sex toys! Or party favors. Or tubes of lube, skin lotion, and crablouse repellent. How embarrassing.

I saw that movie I thought it was pretty good not great but good.

Curious

Is this story going to be erotic in nature or just about guns and whether or not they fit into a guitar case?

LOL. Sometimes if you are writing a "real" story as opposed to a wank fic you have some details you'd like worked out for various reasons. You should see some of the conversations we have on the various limitations of vampires here somedays. Or the logistics of mind control. We probably have four threads this year going on about how wishes traditionally work in media and the various problems it presents.

Presumably this is the only place the OP is having any difficulty and it's a fairly specific question. Just one that I probably would have googled rather than ask around. Like I do when I hit a problem with cars.

Actually its a brother & sister story he moves in with her after a family tragedy and after he gets settled in she explains to him about her work and shows him the tools of her trade.

And when he see's the guitar case full of firepower and at first he freaks out but calms down then one day she goes out on an assignment and some trouble comes up at home and they must handle it themselves.

Their is NO Sex in the story but they do share a bedroom and sleep in the same bed.
