Is this basic concept a good idea?

Alright guys, so I’m here for “mature” writing as well. Probably very mature. My basic story premise/ setting is partially based off of real life.
And it takes some explaining so hang in there for a minute

Basically a girl I used to know in middle school is now an escort/sugar baby. I follow her on instagram, but her posts/stories are all… specifically designed to ignore that she’s doing the above. But sometimes you’ll see her in Dubai… or France with some 60 year old guy wakeboarding behind his yacht, or Italy, or whatever… in Japan at some stupidly rich Japanese guys dinner… etc.

Anyways, I’ve always wanted to write a story inspired by that. Take some of those posts and create a narrative “spinning off” from the settings and possible situations she actually was in to create a story of all the things we might not be seeing. Some of it will be VERY nsfw… some of it not. Now I want to be clear- we will change some stuff and her name to make sure that that’s an issue.

Am I crazy? It’s in my head ,and I think there’s something cool here.

That being said; stories based on content creators are fairly popular now given the advent of social media and sites like Instagram and OnlyFans so I would say if you feel inspired to write something like this, go for it since there is very likely an existing audience for it.

It could be a good story. It all depends on presentation and the underlying theme. Are you going to elevate and promote the lifestyle of being a slut/whore or show its seedier side as a morality story. That and where you put the story will make it or break it. Although there are enough out there who if their cocks get a tingle, don't care. You have to write and reflect your feelings. That does not have to be YOUR personal feelings, but rather the feelings of your MC.

it’s a good question. I find inspiration from her. I want to dive into the mindset that has to be created to “normalize” certain aspects of that lifestyle. What is she thinking? Is she thinking , “just another two days and i get my $10k”? is she completely, “method acting” the entire period of being “on the job”? Or would she do all these things without pay?

It sounds interesting. I might read it. But I’d personally want a deeper motivation for why she does what she does. Something beyond wanting a good time.

I 100% agree. I like the idea of there being a struggle between the (real & imagined) societal pressures of success. Maybe her family is wealthy and was calling her a fuckup because she failed high school. Maybe her family are poor fuckups, and in her head nothing is worse than being that.
