College stupidity

My first few days at college, we were told that if we were going to miss class for any reason, we would need to bring a note. I was out of the military at the time and was about 22 years old. I was confused. Was this college or high school??? So, I asked the instructor, "Just who do we have write this note for us?" The instructor sighed, rolled his eyes and looked skyward. He finally said, "Well, your PARENTS, of course!"

I laughed and said, "Listen, I live by myself and my parents are both DEAD. Am I supposed to hold a seance to get this note, or maybe bring an Ouija board to school so you can contact them in the afterlife???" The instructor's eyes glazed over and he mumbled, "Oh... well, I don't know what to do then."

So, I went to the admin building for further clarification. I told them I was paying for my classes, not the state, and if I had to miss a class it was none of their business WHY I had to miss the class. I was an adult and if they didn't like it, too damn bad." The administrator himself apologized and said I was right and he would relay new info to the instructors. In a couple of days, the instructor told us we wouldn't need notes if we missed class. Good grief!!!

The United States’ Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently put forth a controversial proposal that may make doctors vulnerable to lawsuits if they recognise only two genders…

The proposed new rule, which falls under U.S. President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act, prohibits medical practitioners from discriminating against transgender individuals.

According to the New Boston Post, the new proposal defines “sex stereotypes” in part as “expectations that gender can only be constructed within two distinct opposite and disconnected forms (masculinity and femininity), and that gender cannot be constructed outside of this gender construct (individuals who identify as neither, both, or as a combination of male and female genders).”

Those who refuse to submit to this grotesque ideology are guilty of “discrimination” and therefore eligible for legalized looting through the courts.
