There's a slider at the bottom of the map to see where peak attacks were. Which makes me wonder what Peru did to piss off people.

Nah, the servers can never handle the volume. Its Sonys fault.

That looks like Missile Command.
Unless I'm missing something it doesn't show any information, like ports, type of attack, etc.

It scrolls by at the bottom of the screen under the Live Attack section.

It gives you Attacker, Attacker IP, Attacker Location, Target Location, Attack Type and Port Attacked.

What more could you asked for?
