I'd probably more likely play for The Dark Side as opposed to the Jedi dweebs. I'm like an anti-moth, drawn to the absence of light. I'd probably choose Dexter Morgan. He almost had super ninja superpowers.

I miss all the death.
 
Ever read those Dexter books? They're awful. The show followed the first couple and made it tolerable. He's kind of an asshole and not in the good way.

Anyway, Deadpool is cool. Snape is awesome. Cool Hand Luke is king.

Good question. In film, probably John Malkovich's character in Dangerous Liaisons. Hannibal Lector? Not sure they qualify as "anti-heroes". In books, maybe Dr. Robert Laing in High-Rise?

I can't remember what year Pitch Black came out so I couldn't say if I think it was the best or not. I thought it was just ok and the others sucked monkey butt. However just ok might be awesome if the rest of the offerings were awful.
 
The term anti-hero is thrown around a lot to the point of it having virtually no true meaning these days. I mean Deadpool is barely an antihero. he's just batshit crazy. He's Bugs Bunny with guns. . .with immortality. . .hurting people. . .someone take off his mask. He might be a rabbit. Or whatever a Warner is.

Also I'm a liberal. Is Jack Bauer an anti-hero or just a hero? I mean the difference between Jack and Frank is that Frank NEVER plays by the rules. Bauer just goes rogue on days that start with T or S. Twice on days that start with W, three on ones that start with M. On Friday he gives zero fucks. He's not going rogue because that in implies going against authority. He simply gives no fucks.

What about my boy Vegeta? For at least the first two sagas he takes part in he's more trying to kill Goku under remotely equal terms than anything else. (he could obviously have refused to save him from #19 and probably 20 and proceded to be the strongest forever or until Gohan broke through but STILL.
