I told you some time ago that the Bozo's in the basement of the White House were calling the FBI damn near daily to try to get the 'latest' information on the Hillary investigation. The investigation is highly compartmentalized so the clowns in the basement haven't been told shit (and neither have the clowns in the State Dept.).

But that hasn't stopped the clowns from making public statements as if the actually Do know what's going on.

How far will the White House go to cover Hillary's ass? As far as Nixon went trying to cover Mitchell's?

Let's see here. In one instance we have 'official' mouth piece(s) speaking out on what are essentially partial facts, and facts that really are not germane to the law on the subject.

On the other hand we have a report on the mental state of the investigators concerning what the mouth piece(s) had to say.

Now I don't know about you but the last thing I'd want to be doing is pissing off the DOJ and FBI investigators.

The entire chain of events re. Hillary have been interesting since I started this thread. Initially she was running as more Bernie than Bernie. And then she went after Trump on the woman thing. The "Donald" counter punched, and hard, made Willy and her enabling behavior an issue so she backed off. And it appears that the "Donald's" counter-punch is still taking a toll.

More info on the emails came to public attention and all of a sudden Hillary started running as "Obama's third term." Given his current public approval ratings that seems like a strange tack to take...........unless she was looking for an umbrella.

What with the White House and State mouth pieces making more public statements it has come to the fore that the server that Obama "knew nothing about until reported in the press" contains 18 (so far) emails from Obama.

The mainstream press is starting to crawl all over this story. Like all the other sharks, they smell blood in the water. One can only wonder how Hillary will spin the WAPO and NYT as "great right wing conspirators." At some point she's going to start sounding terribly paranoid, desperate, or both.

Meanwhile the FBI investigation grinds on digging even deeper into what was on that server. And getting ever more pissed off by the day. Comey, the head guy of the FBI, is a hard nosed, apolitical, individual. It's worth anyone's time to do some research on this fellow, especially his role in a DOJ affair during the Bush administration. Mass resignations were prepared by himself and his staff over an upcoming policy decision. (He WAS the Attorney General (acting) for the US when Ashcroft was hospitalized.) The intelligence community are in as much of an uproar as well. These are the last bastions of apolitical bureaucracy left, if they fall we're all fucked.

When the national law enforcement agency becomes political then anyone that isn't kissing the current regimes ass is in jeopardy of their freedom, if not their life. And when the national intelligence community starts telling the leadership what they WANT to hear, instead of what they NEED to hear. Then we're going to be embroiled in wars that will make the invasion of Iraq look like a field exercise.

It still comes down to whether Obama will order Lynch to fall on the sword to cover Hillary's ass, and whether Lynch will do so. And in the end even if Obama issues that order, and Lynch follows it, will it make any difference at all? Or will it come across as another "Saturday Night Massacre" with the electorate? Because I'm going to tell you right now that if Lynch blocks an indictment those investigators are going to go public.
