Does anyone know of an app that you can download to find people with similar sexual interests that alerts both people when you are near each other? I'm doing a lot of traveling and would like to be able to find a few casual encounters when I'm in the mood. Preferably it would have a setting to make you active or not so you can choose when you get notified. I know it's a long shot but figured I'd try. (Of if anyone reading this is tech savvy, want to develop one with me?)

But for the OP, all those hook up sites, app or otherwise are populated by bots, there's no real women on there.

I can't say for sure, I don't go on any of them. But any site where you can meet local women to hook up is usually a scam.

I read an article on the net about how they work. You set up a free account and you get all these messages from women who want to chat, but...

You can't send a message until you pay for the membership. Then when you do all of a sudden no more messages and no one ever replies to yours.

Years ago I had some success on adult friend finder but in the chat rooms never the profiles and mostly what was there were couples looking for a second guy to play with the wife.

Fetlife has real people on there, but um...yeah.

Yeah, that's not at all how Tinder works or even Grindr for that matter. Pretty much all the current apps/sites other than Ashley Madison and Adult Friend Finder (if that one is even still around) are built around instant gratification and hookups so scamming people doesn't work too well unless it's something being pulled by one of the individuals. No doubt there are a couple that are just scams but nobody is using them.
Dating sites are another matter but the big ones are just fine.
