Yup. $6 for romaine lettuce, that looks quite sad. $6 for cauliflower and broccoli and it is not even a full head, more like a quarter.

Your veggie prices (especially those imported from the States) are directly related to the fall in the price of oil. When crude prices fall, they bring the Canadian dollar with it. Which ups the price of things imported from the States.

So very true. The loonie has really taken a dive. At times we would go to the States and shop, now it is not worth it.
