Just an FYI to everyone posting their birthdays in this thread, the individuals that were formerly creating birthday notices have been inactive for some time. Unless someone picks up the task, this thread should probably be considered dormant. That doesn't mean you have to stop posting birthdays! You just might not get a nice birthday message the day of.

Please forgive me for my prolonged abscence unforfortunatly I have been ill and was unable to return here, nor was I able to say my goodbyes.

Thankfully I see that Mari took over for a while, I owe her a dept of gratatude 🌺

I am slowly returning to write here I think . This thread was once a labour of love and i promise that I will do my very best to contine it if I am able.

Please give me a few days to update the Birthday index to reflect the current members.

I will begin again in February..

I think its a great thread, doesn't matter if I get a card or not. But being able to see friends B-Days since we all like to protect our safety we forget to mention it sometimes.

I'm so glad to see you back and hopefully in good health.
Unfortunately I too had to leave Lit for an extended amount of time and am still 'away', though hope to get back to writing at some point 'soonish'.

I was surprised to see how many people still make Lit their second home. I had been afraid that it might be filled with strangers by now.

Thank you so much Mari it warms my heart that I was missed. I am well for the moment and feel that is a good thing. I too am hoping to ease slowly back into writing maybe just one or two stories so that I can see if I still can.

I hope your absence was not due to illness and hope that I shall see you back as well as soon as you can. I cannot thank you enough for taking over the birthday thread. I was looking it over, you put my efforts to shame. I will have to try and step it up I am thinking. *smiles happily *
