Split personality, with a twist.

Not a fully formed story, but with some brainstorming from the masterminds on here, perhaps something can be made with this idea. I was picturing a woman with a split personality. She has two distinct personalities, one a chaste, conservative, highly religious woman, the other a wanton, sex crazed, nymphomaniac. The twist of the story is that each personality lasts exactly 24 hours before switching to the opposite one at the stroke of midnight.

I know that the brain doesn’t work like that, stuck on some rigid time frame, so I’m not sure what the explanation would be, or if there even needs to be an explanation at all. Maybe she’s always had two personalities that have gotten more and more polarized over time, and as she’s grown they each do their damndest to take full control.

So this is what I have as of now.

The chaste one thinks sex of any kind is dirty, and should only be for procreation. She thinks homosexuality is a sin, and her dream is to become a nun and give her life to God. Sort of like a less lunatic version of the mother in Stephen King’s Carrie.

The sex crazed one is a seductress and and exhibitionist. She’s bisexual, loves group sex, and knows how to seduce just about anyone. To her, sex is a spectator sport, and the kinkier, the better. She loves cock, pussy, ass, breasts, feet, armpits, belly buttons, thighs etc., and she is horny all the time.

My thought is that the two personalities both know of the other, and both want full control, but can’t seem to figure out how to get it. They both plot ways to try to shock the other into giving up control.

A few ideas on that front include the following.

The slut hooks up with two black men, and tells them that she’s always wanted to be the creamy center in an oreo cookie. She intentionally times it so that while the two men have her double stuffed, front and rear, the clock strikes midnight and her other personality wakes up in the midst of a powerful orgasm. It is shocking to the chaste one, who has a big problem with interracial and group sex. What would her reaction be? How would she handle it?

In her effort to take control, the chaste one goes to her church and begs the preacher to help her. She explains everything, and the preacher tells her that he can help her. He takes her to the nunnery and tells the nuns to watch over her and don’t let her do anything harmful to herself. When the clock strikes midnight, the seductress awakes, and by the time the preacher comes back the next morning, the nuns are in an all out orgy with her, and he is pulled in.

What lengths will each personality go through to control the other? Perhaps the chaste one handcuffs herself to her bedframe and asks someone she thinks she trusts to unlock her in twenty four hours, but the person comes back after midnight and winds up having sex with the slut over and over while she is still handcuffed. Then the slut decides to do a porn shoot while dressed in the conservative attire of her alter ego to ruin the image that she is trying to protect.

So the idea is there for the taking if anyone wants to use it. I’d love to hear what others think of the idea, and any thoughts on expanding it. How would the story end, or should it have multiple chapters with no end in sight? Should it be written in first person or third person?

Split personality stories are tough. Because most of the time the reader wants to know the
'why?' Of how they became split. ...usually abuse or trauma, which isn't particularly erotic. Additionally, while MPD is one of those things that some people even wonder if it really exists (it doesn't Harlow that some of the more documented ones still have embargoes on them so they can't be fully reviewed) a few of the details that are agreed on are fugue states, and the existence of at least 3 personalities, with one that has no lnowledge of the others.

The ending should be a convergence of some sort. Maybe they have sex with each other With the aide of a therapist or a third weaker personally that can only exist in the background. They become a new entity that is sexually hungry but can form longer lasting friendships (maybe she joins a link club or swingers group once she's whole). The sex scene would be on a dreamscape while her body would be masturbating.

Maybe the prudish side submits to her need for physical pleasure while the promiscuous side has to allow emotions and things outside of physical pleasure to join her lovemaking.

Edit: had an idea. Third personality (which is closer to the real person) goes to a therapist for help with her fugue states. Therapist doubts her claim but the other two manifest themselves. Story takes place during sessions, with each personality reporting on their thoughts. For example, third starts getting texts from a guy who was used by the promiscuous side. Third is horrified that she hurt someone, promiscuous sees it as a part of her games (he wanted to start a relationship outside of the sex so she kicked him to the curb), and prudish believes he's just as bad as the personality she hates). Another time, she finds a dress torn to pieces and prudish personality admits to destroying it because she thought it was slutty...promiscuous admits to wearing the tattered remains to a party.

I'll agree that 'serious' MP tales are too much like MC and magic / dream bits; anything can happen, without accountability. How do we know the MP'er isn't faking?

But I can see it played for comedy with a Scooby-Doo chase inside the player's head. Go strictly Freudian as three personas, Iris (id), Eva (ego), and Suzi (superego), battle for control of unwitting MP victim Vonnie. For fun, each persona manages to hold the reins long enough to have their own education and career. Scheduling challenges ensue.

I don't want it to be about any previous trauma that she received. I was thinking something more along the lines of maybe a family trait, where all the women go through split personality to a certain degree. Or it could be the result of an unfortunate encounter with a mystical gypsy who cursed her when she was a young girl. The split starts off pretty tame and goes mostly unnoticed at first. As she gets older though, the two personalities become more diverse. Maybe the prudish one thinks that she is possessed by something evil, so she goes to the extreme with religion, trying to find a way to stop it. Meanwhile the promiscuous one takes it as a challenge to win sole possession of the body.
A third possibility could be that two separate people on opposite ends of the spectrum, are somehow melded together into one body, kind of like a Freaky Friday type thing, but instead of swapping bodies, they are both in one and only have possession for 24 hours at a time. It's fiction, so the author can go crazy.

So in the morning after the nympho has a successful night the prude wakes up with sweaty strangers? It seems like that would stress the prude a lot. What would the prude do to the nympho to keep them even?

Yes, exactly, the prude would be stressed out as she never knows where she is going to wake up and who is going to be with her. That is why she would be so determined to get full control. She would try therapy, seek religious help, handcuff herself to the bed, take powerful sleeping pills just before midnight, lock herself in a cell, whatever she could think of is pretty much available. Of course since this is Literotica, the wild one would somehow always seem to be one step ahead, and she would always have the advantage because she doesn't care about her image like the prude does.

I had an idea similar to this but with three personalities instead of two, the trigger was that when she goes to sleep she wakes up as one of the other two, so basically when she loses conciseness in some way. One is straight and ordinary, one is a bisexual party girl, and one is a lesbian feminist.

I wrote one with a split personality. The main one was abused as a little girl and had a psychotic break that created the alter ego.

The original is a 'good woman' who married a dirt bag cheating misogynist who breaks her heart but she was raised to let the husband do what he wants

The other becomes a masked serial killer who lures married men into motels, ties them down, then lops their cocks off and kills them for being adulterous scum.

Sexy, huh?

Yes, exactly, the prude would be stressed out as she never knows where she is going to wake up and who is going to be with her.

Or in her, since these things don't necessarily stop before midnight. Given the prude's probable sudden reaction it seems unlikely that the nympho could maintain a group relationship of a circle of fuck buddies.

Of course since this is Literotica, the wild one would somehow always seem to be one step ahead

I wouldn't take that as a given, but that probably depends on how you want to resolve their conflict.

I think the regular switch at midnight is a story problem -- not because it's unexplainable, but because of the odd situation it creates. Would it be better to have them switching on the basis of some external signal that they can't control?

Make it an effect of an artifact or a spell or something, and make the slutty stuff more infrequent, like a werewolf only changes at the full moon. That way the good girl can build her reputation over days and weeks and then suddenly surprise every one with the changeup. If it is every 24 hours, really hard to keep track of who you're dealing with.

And then, you could make the slutty side totally neat and organized and the good girl can't remember to pay her bills, so there is an odd upside to slutting out. First she gets her clean on, then she gets her freak on.

The once a month thing with the full moon did cross my mind, and the way you describe it actually sounds more reasonable than my original idea. Instead of the woman being bit by a wolf and becoming a werewolf, she is cursed by a witch that she pisses off for some reason. So she goes from being this well respected, judgmental, church going, puritanical, tight assed woman, to a complete lascivious, vulgar, sex crazed, slut every time the moon is full. I would probably leave out the cleaning and bill paying aspect, but I like the rest.

Flipping personalities daily is funny and complicated. Saint from dawn to dusk, sinner from sunset to sunrise. Zap! Flipping only once a month is sort of lunar-traditional -- but why limit slut-mode for only one night? Let's say she's saintlier in the dark of the new moon but sluttier when the moon is fuller -- a continuum, not a dichotomy. Those gray periods would strain her self-control and sanity.

EDIT: Or maybe the lunar extremes are her Id and Ego, and in-between times her SuperEgo rules. But is her sexuality affected by astrological aspects?
