Not sure if she has a role in that or if it's just that Laurel trusts & respects her opinions. But she took notice of a couple of my comments/complaints & she informed Laurel.
( because I'm starting to feel that this matter is more serious than what I initially thought.)

I'm not sure if it's just you, or she's just busy, or she just doesn't answer some emails.
Because I sent Laurel a complaint about someone who was harassing me badly and clearly broke two forum rules in doing so, and my mailbox read - not read by adressee.
So try Brolyana. But make sure that the guy who's harassing you clearly broke forum rules, otherwise you might not have a case.
Not sure if my advice is good tho - so waiting to see what other people might have to say.

I thought that too, in my case.
Because she answered my previous email (in an unrelated manner) and she was very curteous about it.
Whereas my complaint - which had good supporting evidence re the harassment - was 'not read'.
In saying this, I don't blame her, because running such a site is so complex, and all these things can become quite awkward. Moreover, I managed to deal with it on my own, and the harassment eventually ended.
And regardless of that incident, the positives of this forum far outweigh the negatives, and I'm greatful to Laurel for allowing us access.

You probably have grounds since it was two, not just one forum rule.
And you could probably include Lit in the suit, for not furnishing you with an adequate 'ignore' feature or the ability to 'Log-Out'.
Consult with your alts. If they come on board, you may have a class action.

Laurel treats lit like a clubhouse not a business. PM her something funny or fun or a simple matter of tech she's great, complain about a real issue you get nothing.

I agree, seems to have learned a lesson of sorts. But it is still something to see him upset about a stalker. Perhaps this is karma?

His posts were Sooooo creepy when I came here, some of them made My skin crawl.
Yet his posts over the last months have been so much better, and he seemed genuine about it all.
And I agree with you on the irony of this thread (made me snort a bit too, initially)
But then it occurred to me that Mike also brings up a good point. There's quite a lot of trolling going on here (like in any internet forum).
The murky area is this, tho : when does trolling cross the line and becomes harassment or bullying?
