I only made it...

Well... I'm here, now. And for the rest of my life.
Thank you Simon... et all. :rose:;):rose:

Just made a quick cruise through, and all I can say to everyone is... "I'm on my way... wherever you are."

I know, it's a pose. I'll try and get a real shot of harvesting fuel for the stove.

This is brilliant, Simon, I love it! I'll see if I can rustle up a pic of H doing something manly to contribute... ;)

Xianpeters' pic of scything (yum!) put me in mind of Poldark - do you remember all the fuss about that? For those who don't know, it was a British costume drama last year, all soaring landscapes, bare chests and heaving bosoms. But there was a scything scene...:

http://ichef-1.bbci.co.uk/news/660/media/images/82039000/jpg/_82039344_8259981-low_res-poldark.jpg

And the ladies of Britain collectively swooned!

And some scything association complained that his technique was rubbish and he grunted too much.... :D

Good to see Poldark on here, Numi! We both were huge fans.

My next: the way to save on scaffolding charges.
Mind, scrunching up to get out of that hole was the challenge.

Omg those things unnerve me (is that even a word)
Travelling home to Scotland they are everywhere, they're
gonna uproot and walk *shudders*

Yes I know it's an irrational thought :D

I see and hear them as sheer beauty: symbol of us seeking earth-friendly ways. OK, a poetic thought, as well as a kinda political one.

"Home to Scotland" - you prompt my next pic ...
