The Wisconsin High School Athletic Board has banned chanting ten slogans inside high school gyms. Among the offenders is "You Can't Do That!"

List HERE

Luckily for Wisconsinite Jezzilee, it only applies to high school events. She's still free to say "You can't do that" in the back seat of her boyfriend's car on Lover's Lane as needed. ;)

I don't pay any attention to sports. Why do people even want to chant a Beatles song title at games?

e to the x, dy/dx
e to the x, dx
cosine, secant, tangent, sine
three point one four one five nine
square root, cube root, log of pi
dis-integrate them, RPI!

I'm doubting anyone is saying No in the back seat of a car at Lovers Lane.

"Sieve" is something that gets chanted at high school basketball games?

I've heard it at hockey games to insult the goalie, so I'm guessing this is a similar thing to imply a team has a porous defense.

Wisconsin does love their high school sports.

Dodged THAT bullet didn't I?

Bunch of cheeseheads.

Thank you!

When I played basketball, instead of yelling AIRBALL, the opposing team's fans shouted HAIRBALL.

Because I was a very hairy 8th grader, see? Even had a mustache.

Guess you had to be there.

Went to see a high school basketball tournament during Christmas break. When one game became a blowout, students in the stands started rattling their car keys above their heads. Evidently this signifies that it's time to go home.

If Wisconsin thinks the things on the list are bad, just wait until the students come up with the replacements. :)

I remember what we were cheering back in the day, actual cheers that would probably never be allowed now, that our cheer coaches taught us...
