Space exploration being outsourced and privatized

NASA is slowly being defunded and dismantled by the corrupt and crony capitalist Obama administration and the space program is being privatized and outsourced to commercial enterprise.

Up until recently, the US space program was non-profit, government-run, and funded by taxpayer money.

In the very near future, space exploration will be done for the sheer sake of profit, and not in the name of science and human endeavor.

Just like fraudulent and completely profit-driven medical research, this is a another shining example of the many failures of humanity!

That's one small step for man, and one giant leap BACKWARDS for mankind - all in the name of entrepreneurial business venture and (most importantly) to make people friggin' RICH!

Not necessarily. They just put that part into privatization which is developed further by the industry anyway. No reason to waste a lot of money for something private entrepreneurs can do better.

The huge step here is the networking with different partners. Russians bring American stuff into space. I think that's cool.

The Obama administration is an open conduit for crony capitalism, corruption. conspiracy, criminal interests, and everything bad you can possibly imagine.

But then again, he is from Chicago, and the politicians there practically invented political corruption and conspiracy.

As if. They'll spend the money on no-bid contracts for whatever contractors they know, for whatever war it is that we've gotten ourselves into.
