Now, I realize I'm probably gonna get some crazy responses, but what the hell....

So, my bf loves, I mean LOVES for me to wear corsets, and naturally I do cause I know it gets him more turned on seeing me in it. Last night, he decided to "have his dessert" before we went to dinner and had me bent over the bed 10 minutes after I walked in the door....still in my platform boots with my dress up around my neck. I have no idea how many times he made me cum, and since I squirt when I cum, I now have a stain on the front of my corset. I know I can't wash in in the washing machine because of the steel bones & busk and I don't really want to pay what they want to dry clean it. I read where you can mix vodka & water to "lightly mist", but I'm not convinced that's gonna work.

Do any of you ladies out there have any advice or experience with this?

Most garments have care and cleaning instructions attached, or you can try to contact the maker if possible. In general, Hand Wash in cool water using something like Woolite.

That's assuming this is a cloth/lace garment and not leather.

White wizard is great for this type of thing - it's a sort of soapy gel which you mash into the fabric and then dab off the excess liquid and any loosened dirt.

BTW I've got steel boned corsets and I do wash them - not often (a good airing works wonders) but even so. Here's how:

Washing up bowl filled with cool/tepid water and a hint of the type of soap or detergent for wool and silk. Lay it as flat as possible - try to keep the boning and busks flat - and gently swish the water through it.

Gently rub/dab where needed.

Rinse in more water of the same temperature.

Blot dryish by resting it on a large colourfast towel and rolling it up gently (avoid distorting the boning or the busk).

Place a clean colourfast towel over a clothes horse, airer, or chairback, rest your open corset over this until dry, and pray that to the gods of burlesque the steel doesn't rust.

Speed up the process, if you must, with a fan or hairdryer (cold shot only), but do not use heat at all!

BTW this for fabrics only - not leather etc, which really do need specialist care. Having remade at least one corset, I can tell you there's a lot of engineering in each one and it deserves treating with respect!

Perhaps try emailing a few corset retailers - or better yet, where you got the corset from - and ask for their recommendations?

I haven't even thought about Woolite and I don't think I've ever seen or heard of White Wizard, but I'll try just about anything at this point. I don't remember seeing a care label in it, but I DID email the seller...haven't gotten a reply yet.

It's supposed to be purple, but it looks more like a deep pink to me and it was the first time I wore that one!!

Thanks for the suggestions...it's not leather or lace, but I'm thinking I need to get one of each!!

A mainstay of my laundry room is Nature's Miracle - from t
he pet store. It's designed to remove pee and poop from carpets etc, but it works great on any organic stain - coffee, tea, grass, dirt, blood. not good for grease and oil.
If the Woolite & cold water dont work, try Natures Miracle.
