What's on television? Have you watched a good TV series or movie lately?
Ever since I can remember, I've watched a lot of television. Growing up in a single parent home that quickly turned into an absentee parent home, the television was my babysitter and entertainment. Suffice to say that when not writing I watch a lot of TV.
I watch a lot of House Hunter. I prefer that to House Hunter international. It's fun to watch how people react to one another. Some couples I really like and others I don't.
I just finished watching Fargo, the TV series and I just started watching Luther. It's interesting but violent. I don't mind the violence as much as I don't like the torture. Ruth Wilson who plays Alice Morgan steals the show. There's something about her character that makes you stare at her on the screen. She also stars in The Affair.
I recently finished watching Ray Donovan. That was good and some of it is shot in South Boston and Justified with Timothy Olyphant is over. Hell on Wheels was pretty good too.
Blacklist is one of my favorites. Only, I can't help but think of James Spader when he played Mr. Grey opposite Maggie Gyllenhaal in The Secretary. Now, that was a hot movie (lol).
"Lift your skirt up past your hips and pull down your panties. Now put your elbows on the desk and lean forward."
I rarely watch a movie again but I watched that movie a few times. My other favorite movie is the Professional, Natalie Portman's first movie. The movie is about an Italian hit man played by Jean Reno (a Frenchman). Gary Oldman gives an unbelievable performance a doped up DEA agent.
Of course there's Godfather 1 & 2 and the Soprano's, but the best series that I ever saw on television was Deadwood. I loved that show. Everyone was a cocksucker in that series.
Schindler's List, Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting (obviously with the Boston connection, Cambridge actually), Heat, Casino, Fargo, No Country for Old Men, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and The Graduate are movies that I'd watch again.
What about you? Do you have any favorite movies or TV series?
