So for a while know I have this story in my head. Loosely based on real experiences. While not erotic I'd thought I'd post the idea here for those that like to write it.

This a non incestuous story. I don't think the son even faps its just the raw emotion of knowing and wondering.

The MC's mother on the outside is a very conservative woman. Dates men from time to time. Maybe in a five year span during his life time she dated two men. Married once got divorced a year later (the husband cheated on her). She's strict and hates the fact the MC is into "violent" video games. Keep in mind even football is very violent to her. She expects perfection and nothing less. For instance doing something wrong is the same as never doing it at all. There is no almost got it right. It's either right or wrong in which case it was never done. If you think Marine Corps DI has sympathy then you haven't met her.

She even considered the MC to be a rapist when she caught him with a playboy magazine and acted as such.

So one day the mother hangs out with a female co-worker. Came home later than expected. Something weird that she never does. There was even one night the two came home and just stayed in the friend's vehicle. He couldn't see well but he could see the two in the car. They were in there for a least 30 minutes. During that time he even took the trash outside and they didn't notice.

Just what the hell where they doing?

She later said they were listening to phone messages from her ex-husband. Whatever.

Fast forward a few days.

The co-worker came in one night. He was supposed to be in bed (for school) but while he can't see very well he can hear EXTREMELY well. He heard a sucking sound. No moaning or heavy breathing. It was suction. He couldn't sneak down the hall because the floorboards would creek. They'd hear him.

He asked what the noise was. She said she was slapping her stomach .. no that's not what that sounded like.

Fast forward a few weeks.

They came home really late again. He heard his mother say. "I don't know what she was talking about. She could've licked both our pussies."

She never used that word, despises it's use even. She emphatically hates that word. But for her to say it so casually. Hmmmm.

Fast forward a few more weeks and the two stopped hanging out. The MCs amateur investigation didn't reveal any concrete evidence.

Though there was the time he heard her whispering to a woman she was on the phone with about what she was wearing. But the call ended when someone dropped by.

So why was the MC so interested?

He has a mother that seems to hate him and consider him a failure in all things he does. A person that condemns him. A person that is completely ashamed of him. And yet she's a lesbian. Something that during that time NO-ONE openly admitted. Trust me there was no born this way being shouted. People kept that to themselves.

Is the MC just a front? Is he even wanted in her life? Is he really loved? Does she really care about him? Or is she just doing and saying things merely for show?

Why is she lying to him? She condemns him to hell for lying and yet she's lying!

Then there is the fact the MC could exploit her dirty little secret. The bastard could use it to get her off his back. If he looking at a playboy was a such a horrible thing to do then how would grandma feel about knowing she's a lesbian. But perhaps he would never tell because unlike her he understands people have their reasons for secrets. That the respect and fear (mostly) would keep his mouth closed.

So that's what I have for that. I'm assuming an erotic writer could go into the graphic lesbian sex scenes. Maybe the raw emotions of someone confronting these issues during late 90s or even today.

I feel like you're channeling some sort of real life experience here, in some limited fashion. Strict mom, much?

That said, these days most people in the MC's age group would be "Mom's lesbian? Huh. Yay. What's for dinner?"

Honestly, I have trouble thinking anyone under the age of 30 would feel any sort of emotional backlash. "Huh. Who knew?" would about cover it. So your mom had you for dubious reasons. There are plenty of people around who are here because dad was horny or a condom ripped or someone cheated with a neighbor; we don't make a big fuss about the origin because once you're here, you're here, and how you got here isn't all that relevant to anything.

But if you move it back a generation or two you could have something with *intense* emotional impact...

True. These days no big deal.

This took place over ten years ago.

Over forty years ago I met a woman with four teenaged kids, the youngest a son. Her abusive husband had left them a couple years earlier. I'm not sure if her lesbian life was cause or result or unrelated. Anyway, they lived in a small historic town in upstate New York, a fairly conservative area -- that's where the Mormons originated. She was 'out' as a dyke. Her young son certainly knew, probably by the time he was ten, as did all the neighbors, friends, and family. Those days no big deal.

Yes, the OP story could be set in a time+place where it WAS a big deal. Authors can invent whatever background they/we wish. Just be consistent.

You're right. Time and locality are big things. There are some areas even to this day that are stuck in a period from 50-90 years ago. How rural a place is has a big impact on a story is what I'm getting at.

Edit: I slipped and expressed my thoughts on some things. Fear of PC out-lash keeps me quiet because I don't know how to word things in a way that is PC. I try to be as respectful as I can but sometimes someone reads something the wrong way and then disaster strikes.
