There's anything 100 miles north of Laredo? I think that alone is worth celebrating. Have a drink!

It's pretty funny, really. A few yrs ago the area was flooded with oil people with money to burn.
Then they left, and the two fancy hotels just sit there looking silly.
The steakhouse bar has only survived because they paid it all off in the boon.
Definetely an oasis in a vast desert of nothing.
