You might be right (I don't possess the right knowledge to be able to challenge that) but if phrased unproperly, it could serve as the right justification for islamophobes (those whose prejudice applies to the people who follow the religion as opposed to just yhe religion).

And mind you, the Bible has some biased and violent thinking, too, as I'm told (again, religion not being my forte). Ie the horde of locusts or the pkague that plagued an entire city as "God's punishments".
