They better not. I bought my trusty suihanki (rice cooker) at Target back in the early aughts and it's still going strong like a Duracell battery. Unbelievably versatile. Has been a principal investment for making easy, inexpensive rice-based meals for when I can't afford to go eat at Eleven Madison Park. Been thinking about upgrading and donating my current one to Goodwill.
