My cat hides herself under the tree and ambushes the dogs when they stroll by. I have no worry the dogs will pull the tree down, they give it a wide berth.

I taught my kids to do something like that. I think it's glorious to lay on your back under the tree and just look up, especially in the dark with only the tree lights on.

Yes, but when we used to do that we would tire of it fairly quickly and start craving Christmas cookies, peanut butter, and smelts. Any kind of food, actually.
