Saw a trailer for this on Monday and thought it looked great. Not heard about the bear rape thing!

Reminds me of a book I read called Bear by Marian Engle (I think) written in the seventies. It's about a mousey librarian who house sits on an island in Canada and becomes obsessed with a bear and tries to get him to shag her. Very strange book, terribly sad but I did enjoy it.
