Dereliction of duty, it sounds like, or (more cinematically) kindergarten cop. But I'll play along. Why would a hot tub need guarding? Because it's big enough for several adults to play at once; orgies tend to develop.
It's a clothing-optional pool party. Polly the Hot Tub Lifeguard is topless in her Red Cross bikini bottoms; everybody else is naked but she's in uniform.
She was not ordered to inhibit sexual activity, only ensure nobody drowns. She must closely supervise all the cummings and goings, break-up underwater 69s, watch for post-coital syncope (passing out after orgasm), and keep the tub filters stay un-clogged -- very important to scrub those body fluids from the water. Retrieve escaped sex toys too.Since Polly is a conscientious lifeguard she remains alert and does not join in the fun. Remaining detached is frustrating. She witnesses extremely hot action, wild perversions, tender romance, tentative exploratory probes, etc. Her 1st-person POV narration becomes increasingly tense as her hormones heat-up with no release.
The party ends late; the last naked drunk is rolled out around 4 a.m. Polly's body is screaming at her: FUCK ME! Do Mr & Mrs. N give her a thank-you fuck at the end of her duty? Probably not.
For drama, one spectacularly-naked but ominous man repeatedly solicits Polly; she must refuse, of course. Build up the drama of his creepy vibes. Later it turns out he's a rapist-murderer escaped from prison who snuck into the party looking for refuge and fresh meat. Heroics ensue; he's captured.
But mostly the story is a string-of-fuckathons stroker. Who needs more?
