Juvenile Delinquents Shall Henceforth Be Called “Justice-Involved Youth”



As noted previously, criminals must not be called “criminals,” because that would be offensive. Likewise, underage criminals must not be called “juvenile delinquents,” lest it hurt their sensitive feelings. Call them instead “justice-involved youth”:

“The Department of Justice is committed to giving justice-involved youth the tools they need to become productive members of society,” Attorney General Loretta Lynch said in a news release on Monday.

Lynch said the Justice Department and the Department of Housing and Urban Development are launching a $1.7-million initiative to help Public Housing Authorities and legal assistance groups “reduce barriers for justice-involved youth.”

What exactly does this mean, other than that taxpayers are out another wasted $1.7 million? No one knows — unless you can make sense of this:

Through the new Juvenile Re-Entry Assistance Program, DOJ and HUD will work collaboratively “to help individuals that have paid their debt to society rehabilitate and reintegrate back into their communities.”

Unfortunately it was their integration into these dysfunctional, fatherless, welfare-created communities that caused them to be juvenile delinquents justice-involved youth in the first place.

You would be surprised at how different verbiage can make a difference to a person. Studies show that people view an "African-American" person more positively than a "black" person. This isn't me talking - it's science.

Norway did the same thing with their prisoners - oops, I mean "residents" of their prison system...I mean rehabilitation center. Actually, Norway does a whole lot of shit way better than America in regards to rehabilitating offenders. In America, offenders are pretty much treated like cattle, punished rather than rehabilitated, and spit on by society after they "pay their debt." The recidivism rate is through the roof. It's the exact opposite in Norway, a nation where criminals get job training, don't live in hellholes, see the guards as friends and helpers rather than as oppressors (and the guards act as such,) and actually can do stuff when they get out. The recidivism rate? Jack shit.

Americans are the most spiteful people on the planet. These are people who want to take away other people's right to form unions just because they themselves are in shitty situations at work. They refuse to house the homeless, feed the hungry, help drug addicts, give ex-cons opportunities or job training - even when hard evidence says it's far and away the right thing to do from both a human standpoint AND a financial one AND will benefit the people PAYING for it - simply because they believe that those people don't deserve it. You reap what you sew. Simple as that.
