I don't know much about this Pete guy, and I don't care about his romantic life - his business. Or about his/or anyone else's personal beliefs or choices.

But I would personally wish for his return.
Because, I noticed that several users who are not in the good books of the GB community (R-wingers, some of them, I suspect) are such good posters! Not only that they have an original kind of humour, but they also often come up with interesting and exciting ideas.
Moreover, a bit of controversy and debate keep this forum on it's toes, which is good.
