Okay so what actually happened was that a comedian named Amy Schumer bragged about having sex with a dude who was all but passed out drunk. And she bragged about this in front of Ms Magazine's Foundation for Women.

Remember that rage you felt when you read the topic? You wanted to find my address and kill me for that. Where is all that rage now?

THIS is rape culture, and you feminists help keep it going.

Do you equal "lousy lay" with "barely concious"?

Move on !

Why would I have a problem with you fucking someone and you thinking she was a lousy lay? Perhaps she was a lousy lay, perhaps you are a lousy lay? When I read your topic I was actually amused. I was also happy you had sex, lousy or not...

One thing has nothing to do with the other. A lousy lay does not have anything in common with rape

LOL it's as if you guys only read the title.

That;s the downside of posting the same bullshit over and over for 15 years.
It's not bullshit, it's facts.

Facts are never bullshit - they are, however, inconvenient for feminists like you.

You would defend a woman even if she were hacking a male infant to death right in front of you. Because you'd say he's a future rapist.

Did you read the piece you linked, LJ?

I don't think she was bragging, and I don't think they had sex.

But... I really didn't think it was funny either... she's a comedian? Maybe the LOLs were lost in context...

My reply is proof I also read the post.

So? Do you?
A woman bragged about sexually assaulting a dude and your response was whether "lousy lay" meant "barely conscious". You totally missed the entire point.

If Amy Schumer had been Arnie Schumer and the other person was a woman you would all be screaming FUCKING RAEP KILL THAT SON OF A BITCH ARRRRRRARRRRGH.

But since it's a woman doing it to a dude, you're all "duhhhh do you equal lousy lay with barely concious duhhhh" and "I don't think they had sex urrrhhh ummm" and all that ducky dodgy nonsense.

Did you even read that? It's not bragging. Not even close.

Oh there was plenty of woe-is-me whining in there, but there was bragging, too.

But you're intentionally running away from the actual point here - if this was a dude talking about what he did to a woman, it would be fucking called rape.

You should see someone about all this. Probably do you some good.

I am not sure I would take such an extreme interpretation.

However, as a society we do tend to buy into the notion of collective punishment and blame as well as distorted sense of the relative severity of offence.

So yes overall men have committed far more sexual offence against women than the other way around. But that doesn't make it ok when the opposite happens. Nor is it ok for an innocent man to absorb the "punishment" that some people may believe is due to other men. Nor is it ok to dismiss the offence because it is not as bad as what some women have endured. I know I am gonna catch shit for this but you know the same thing happens with race. The fact the black people in America have unequivocally gotten the shaft does not justify racism towards white people who weren't the ones who gave them the shaft. Nor should it mean that anything short of 200 years of slavery and oppression doesn't merit a mention.

We have to find a way to mitigate sexism and racism without making it open season on anyone who happens to be the same gender as the original perpetrators.
