Nobody can deny the fact that the Indian society is still struggling to accept the right to sexuality, but a recent incident in Bengaluru has sent shock waves across the nation. According to reports, a mother raped her son to cure his homosexuality in the name of carrying out a corrective rape, which has become a bitter reality in India.

And because women cannot be prosecuted for rape, she will never see a day in prison.

but can you pick any other example but India? A first-world country, for ex., where women are less oppressed?

I was horrified by the news reports of those horrific cases of gang-rape/murder, and by the fact that it took a huge public protest for authorities to acknowledge the magnitude of the phenomenon.
