Some of my possible contest stories have been waiting fifteen or more years since they were started.

The Earth Day drafts need drastic revision.

Yes, but you keep posting stories. Elfin likes to say she's working on a story to pretend she's part of the contest discussion, but she hasn't posted anything for nine and a half years. So it's all just easy button pretense.

Obviously you're (purposely?) blind to how often Elfin jumps me on the forum from out of the blue--and interested in jumping me yourself. In this case, just pointing out her technique of trying to be part of a discussion on posting stories to Lit., when she hasn't done so for nine and a half years (despite telling us frequently on contest threads what she's working on for the contest, as she has done here). Just a fraud.

Anywho, I only came here to say I'm opting out of this one. This is probably my least favorite of the theme contests. I've yet to think of a plot bunny for this theme that didn't come across as a cliché to me.

Trust me when I say I am not at all keeping track of who or who does not "jump" on you in the forum. So I really have no idea of your history with Elfin. However, in this instance, at least, Elfin did not mention you at all, and still you felt the need to "jump" on her. Why bother, if not just to stir shit up?

Don't answer that. Because actually, I realize I could not care less.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there several people who "hang out" in the AH who post their stories on other accounts? Could Elfin possibly be doing that?

Serious inquiry. I don't see anything wrong in doing so, I'm just curious.

I fail to see what this has to do with what I was asking, or the main topic.

All I was suggesting was that if you're going to accuse someone of something, you should make sure you're right, much like your accusations about a "voting and attack clique."

By the way, I thought you were done with contests? Too many downsides compared to upsides, or something like that. Then why are you here? Who are you here to "support"?

If Elfin fails to post a winter contest story, than I'm right. My accusation was that, as in the past, she will claim she's going to participate in the contest so that she can be part of the contest authors conversation but she won't post a story.

Of course, if she does post one, it's because I've finally embarrassed her into actually posting one of the stories she likes to say she's working on without actually posting anything for nine and a half years. (I've posted 799 stories since the last one she has posted. )

My first post never even mentioned you, only that the snarky comments have started on a contest that's not even started yet. Does everything have to be about you?
