That's a great idea! I've been digging driftwood recently. I'd like a few to put in the house - I'm not big on seashore decor, but there's something about the wood that I love. I should have gone out right after the no'reaster. There would have been a ton of cool pieces.

Look at this. I love this look. you can purchase real pumpkins, use a special craft/art shellac on them and they last forever. Then you can chalk paint those, too. Isn't this fabulous? I love the look of all the white pumpkins Im seeing this year. Mix them in with your painted driftwood and you have a beautiful centerpiece.
