Writing for porn companies

Does anyone here have any experience of writing for porn companies/websites? Blurbs for DVDs, scripts for movies, reviews etc? I'm wondering if there is any overlap between erotica and porn (Not that writing a movie script and a story are the same, but still). Still, I am interested in sidelines.

You really don't have to...they steal our stuff from LIT and use it to promote their videos. Not that the video has anything to do with the story they post with the link to buy the video.

I've written a few stories off of porn clips I thought were hot, so I'm even with them.

And I think the porn DVD industry is missing a goldmine by not filming Lit. stories with some plotting enough of the time (with decent actors, though).

Alas, how cheap of them to pinch our stuff. All it takes is 50 words and a thesaurus to write a clip blurb. I feel sort of like I have stumbled across a secret Ninja's vs Pirates type situation.

Porn is all 'tubes these days so the days of long films might have to wait until fashions change. Even so, a good idea. You should pitch it.

Mother/son incest is big in the porn world(actors of course) so big that new comer Jodie West-who started her porn career at 45- won an AVN last year and she does mostly step mom/mom videos.

With that type of market I have thought about trying to approach her and some other s who have their own websites and offer some script ideas based on my mother/son stories.

But I don't because what will happen is they will check into it, find lit and just steal form everyone.

Yup, red tube etc are the big thing in porn because they-like lit-have tons of categories and the web sites give away a bunch of clips to watch to try to get traffic. I enjoy 10 minute clips far more than full movies anyway so it works out well

Eh, I've seen a few hokey old porn films and think that there is a niche for them. But only a small one, and like erotica they need to pitch their tent halfway between the tubes and a 'real' movie.

I was toying with the idea of approaching a camgirl site or two and seeing if any wanted their profiles being written, but eh, an idea to put on the backburner for now.

Have to agree that Redtube really does have the knowledge when it comes to giving the punters what they want

I always think of it as a giant whirlpool, aggregating all the porn together in one giant easy to find place the way LeT does for erotica.

Fast forward was invented to remove plotting from porn. VHS beat out Beta because it had better fast forward. Look it up.
