That asshook was not properly fitted. The curve is wrong. I bet it is some cheapass tubing and probably not 316L stainless steel (tight grain structure for easy cleaning) or even made with love.

With asshooks, as so with baking. Homemade is always better than store bought.

Well, that was interesting. I clicked on a YouTube link from this thread, right after all the discussion about Uggs. Before the video played, I had to watch an ad for Uggs.

YouTube has never shown me an ad for Uggs before.

And we worry about Big Brother watching.

Things that make life better

Sunlight coming in through the windows.
New sheepskin slippers.
The heat being on. Most of the radiators work. The bathroom and bedroom's don't so far, but somehow it was warm this morning.
A nice new terry cloth bathrobe.
Waking up from a bad dream to Mr. Bear in front of my face.
Not sure how he gets from the headboard shelf to that exact position but he has done it twice so far.

Off to PT!

Good thing as in totally knackered. I've been utterly D H Lawrenced today. Went to the DHL Heritage Museum then the house he was born in and had the full tour which was fab. Then we went round an antiques centre and I had the best banoffee pie ever.

Oh there was a spider incident back at my mate's house. I screamed my head off and she was "oh come along little spidey" so I hit her on the back of the head with a shovel and ended a beautful 35 year friendship.

Not really. But she did say that and carried him through the house IN HER FUCKING HANDS like some sort of hardcore ninja whilst I gibbered behind the cats like a big wuss.

I'm on the gin now and the saucy bits of Lady Chatterley I read today have made me randy as a butcher's dog. Please come and service me Mellors style at your earliest convenience.

That spider story is adorable. The rest sounds like a great day!

:rose:

I need me some culturing. I'm sorry to admit that I have not been to a museum of any kind since I was a kid.

It was traumatic and upsetting. And it was for me too. Yes, been a brill day.

awesome:D

listen, you spidey-hater, y'all need people like your friend to deal with the little buggers or else your life would be way harder. now, tell me about the banoffee thingy....

and what about boris? think i'll put a thread up for all the non-brits who may have missed our mayor of london flattening a kid

my favorite thing to do when going to a city is getting lost in a museum. that and eating food i can not find near me.

This is where we went for lunch in between Lawrence stuff and the antiques centre.

I don't normally choose banoffee but this beast was industrial. Really thick caramel and nestled in the cream and bananas was a mini Dime Bar. I think I squirted.

Not heard about Boris!

Oh hey, do you remember Dolly Blue?
