Umpqua

Oh, btw, LTR just drew my attention to this:

As authorities continue investigating, a war has broken out on a new Wikipedia page for the shooting, which someone tried repeatedly to edit last night to say that the school is a “gun-free zone.” An Oregon court ruled in 2011 that students and faculty with concealed carry permits could bring guns on community college campuses. A veteran and UCC student named John Parker Jr. gave an interview to MSNBC in which he said he was on campus at the time of the shooting carrying a concealed handgun, and implied other students with him were armed as well.

By the FBI definition. It goes something like 2 or more shootings without a cooling off period.

Two? That's a bullshit definition for a mass shooting, obviously. Completely ridiculous. Obama would have to get up there every day and piss and moan if he bought that definition.

Tell it to the FBI, 2bob.

If they had armed security on campus maybe this animal could have been stopped.

Nahhhh....that would make sense. Liberals hate logic.

If a couple of dozen six year olds being massacred doesn't shift the USA's retarded stance on guns, 9 older people is just not a problem, right?

Freedom has its price. People in this country have the right to bear arms. Some of them will abuse that right, unfortunately. And very occasionally they will abuse it to the degree it was abused in this case. That's a fact of life, for better or worse.

For what it's worth, I think anyone using a firearm to commit a crime should face a very long mandatory prison sentence. That wouldn't completely solve gun violence, obviously, but it would make a serious dent in it.

I happen to think hundreds of dead children trumps your "right" to carry a penis substitute.

More prisons, more guards, more tax money down the toilet.

Great idea.

It isn't so much of a problem in other free countries.

It's not "very" occasionally in the USA.

They don't have our rights in other countries. And yes, it's very unusual for someone to kill nine strangers at one time in this country. Extremely unusual.

We both said "free" countries, you moved the goal posts.

How is more than one mass shooting per day extremely unusual? It's a pattern and an epidemic.

Other countries aren't as free as this one, obviously, when it comes to the right to bear arms. And that's not going to change any time soon.

I can't believe you people think killing two people is a mass shooting. You can't be serious about that.

Did you see that this Harper Mercer fucktard had IRA shit all over his Myspace page?
