Because the rapist was a woman.

Misandry hurts women, folks.

Note: this is a feminist website link, not a filthy evil MRA woman hating site. Whatcha got to say now?

Oh, I know. SILENCE.

Since women are deemed incapable of sexual agency in this way, how could they be capable of violent sexual assault? People believe women are inherently non-violent and that discredits victims’ experiences of sexual assault.

Woman-on-woman sexual assault is rarely discussed, and victims of it are often dismissed as liars or as parties to lesbian experimentation gone wrong, as happened in my case.

I have been sexually assaulted by both a man and a woman, and my experiences were equally terrifying, yet I received much less support after a woman assaulted me. No one could even register my experience as important, let alone react.

It is my dearest hope that this changes in the future, lest we make it easy for predatory people to fly under the radar. I am still afraid to this day that she preys on other women at parties completely undetected, due to our preconceptions about femininity.

Actually, I think that LJ might have a point here.
Because I remember a similar case where I lived (don't want to go into details).
It wasn't officially reported, but the victim tried to get moral support and to ventilate - huge mistake. Because half of the people didn't quite understand it, and the whole incident soon became the butt of evr.'s joke.

The proper syntax is *cough*

;)

I once woke up next to a blonde with huge fucking ta-tas who asked me, "Did we do it last night?"

"No, you passed out."

"Why didn't you rape me?"

This really floored me. The next day she keyed my car...

Yup, it's all based on the prejudice that women cannot be violent, and that violence is uniquely a male thing.

Feminists have been heavily milking the benefits of this prejudice as well, while simultaneously blaming DER PATRIARCHAAAAH for characterizing women as harmless. TEACH MEN NOT TO RAPE, and all that.

I'm sure you know that rape is reported in a third of lesbian relationships...

I like insane;)
Speaking of insane, you never heard of Byron's nutjobbery with dolf, have you? Or his racial slurs.

Or 4est_4est_Gump's insane track record of racial slurs and his made-up story of adopting a Chinese daughter, and his made-up story of being a martial arts expert? Or his 40 previous logins, all of which approach or exceed 75,000 posts?

These guys don't want you to think they're sane...

I sometimes have an odd way of expressing myself, I am sorry that I offended (I didn't mean to).

I actually meant it as a compliment. When I said "insane" - I meant a bit quirky (making me laugh, in a good way, tho) yet with out-of-the box thinking (whatever that might be) which stimulates the more creative part of my brain. I live in a VERY pc and closed-off environment at the moment. and you posters are like a breath of fresh air, for me.
NOT AT ALL did I have mental illness in mind or mean it in a derrogatory fashion.

And as far as what happened in the past, I try not to take sides, because I enjoy reading and engaging with all those that I tend to post with.

I dunno how long you've actually been here, but be careful who you make friends with. These people are quick to betray each other. Just saying. And you honestly picked the wrong forum for a breath of fresh air. This is not representative of humanity and if you're looking at this from a closed-off environment you'll come out of this hoping the aliens annihilate the species. :D
