Here’s your feelgood video of the day, assuming that it’s okay to feel good about a young teenager lying on the ground with blood running out of his head after he decided to throw a few roundhouses at a schoolmate with a visual disability.

After the bully was scraped off the pavement, the cops booked him on a charge of misdemeanor battery, a minor punishment compared to the fact that he’ll be known for the rest of his life as The Kid Who Got His Ass Kicked In That Video After Throwing Down With A Blind Kid. The hero, meanwhile, has now been suspended from school and kicked off the football team because violence is always wrong ‘n stuff.

A petition to get him reinstated on the team has now been launched online, which stands by the high school student’s actions…

Dawn Wentland called on the school to reconsider and treat the junior like the ‘hero he is’.

‘I don’t care what the policy says. Its self defense via a bystander. To beat a blind kid and get to play the victim card. Cost another kid his education. That boy is a hero. Treat him like one.’

However, Huntington Beach High School district officials stuck by their move and said they could not accept violent behavior from any student.​

No, what I believe is the lack of dedicated outrage by the non-conservative element that launches attack with gleeful enthusiasm upon the cops and the schools when they react in like manner to students who suffer a deficiency of white privilege...



Like the newly ignored Luk, the reaction to a story like this is to, without any investigation or fact-finding (in imitation of our President, I am sure) is to use the opportunity to attack those they label conservative, which is similar to their reaction to the innocent clock-maker, the attack upon the school officials, it's just that their target changes when the offending student is white.

I do not call hypocrisy though; what I call is the blind obedience to what I have labeled "The Story," a collection of assumed facts that fit every story and are applied blindly and without thought to fit the Politically Correct consensus of thinkers who oppose conservatives, but of whom are not Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Democrats, Leftists, Pragmatic Centrists...,

Schools are usually pretty clear on the rules and the kids are very aware of them. You don't give one kid a pass just because you like him.
The policy of suspending both kids in a fight regardless of who started what is not new. My school had that policy and belive me, I wasn't in school recently.

Anyone who celebrates the positive interferences of government or any subset, even if it is only that one area in which we "need" government to do anything other than defense of the nation and maintaining law and courts as outlined Constitutionally. That includes a helluva lot of Republicans.

This is a superior definition to your loose association of "conservative."
