The Pig

Word from Laurel is that any reference to David Cameron's relations with a pig need to mention that it was in fact an ex-pig, one that had ceased to be. A stiff, bereft of life, expired and gone to meet its maker.

And apparently David Cameron wasn't a member of the club, nor present at the same time as the deceased pig's head.

It gives a new explanation to the popularity of The Boar's Head Carol

If you go to the last link and look at the number of academic institutions that bring in the Boar's Head, perhaps there are more embarrassed politicians.

The boar's head in hand bring I, (Or: The boar's head in hand bear I,)
Bedeck'd with bays and rosemary.
And I pray you, my masters, be merry (Or: And I pray you, my masters, merry be)
Quod estes in convivio (Translation: As many as are in the feast)

CHORUS
Caput apri defero (Translation: The boar's head I offer)
Reddens laudes Domino (Translation: Giving praises to the Lord)

The boar's head, as I understand,
Is the rarest dish in all this land,
Which thus bedeck'd with a gay garland
Let us servire cantico. (Translation: Let us serve with a song)

CHORUS

Our steward hath provided this
In honour of the King of Bliss;
Which on this day to be served is
In Reginensi atrio. (Translation: In the hall of Queen’s [College, Oxford])

it doesn't matter if its true or not, he is always going to be remembered as the prime-minister who fucked a dead pigs head

"David Cameron, who continues to deny putting his penis into a dead pig's mouth, attended a G8 meeting today..."

"pig fucker Cameron, today announced in parliament..."

Glorious.

(I didn't vote conservative in the last general election. Can you tell?)

I have heard that song, before. I stopped by a Christmas Fair to join some friends. While we were looking at what was in the booths, people in costumes carried in a papier-mache Boar's head on a large tray. They had a procession through the main aisle of the fair. The people hoisting up the tray, were singing. The people following the tray were playing olden musical instruments.

The first time I heard the song was in a grade school class. We were studying the celebrations of festivals. We saw a film, and heard the song.

Now, I know why they roast the Boar's head with an apple in its mouth.
