Ever take food from your brothers' or sisters' or besties' plate or container or bento box without asking, even if they didn't offer, because you feel or felt like you're close like that and it's all good? What's yours is mines, that sorta thing?

Like a finger pinch or handful of fries out of the bag or a pizza slice rip from the pie or even a bit of forking into their side salads? Slice off a few ribs from the rack, a few licks of ice cream from the cone or a pour out a dollop of their soup from the cup? Hand down into the open snack bags while they're eating? Maybe you're in a bistro or wherever and you do a fork attack on their plate for a honk of pasta or shank steak?

Do they let you do as you please, or do they get pissed off? Do you ask first? Do you reciprocate in likewise attitude with them if they do the same to you? What happens if you or they take more than fifty percent?

Not so much my siblings, when we ate together I did a lot of the cooking. Men yes, I had a boyfriend who loved burnt fat but liked his steaks rare, I like mine very well done but don't like burnt fat. When I'd cut the fat off my steak, I'd push it to the top of my plate so he could snag it all. Doesn't bother me. My niece does it to me, she likes a lot of the same food I do. So if we eat out and I order something different than her she sits next to me and gets into my plate.

I ask before trying someone else's food. I expect the same courtesy back.
Can't think of a situation where it'd ever be okay to take 50% of someone's meal without asking...

I've been repeatedly told by Mrs Rug & the Ruglets that food tastes better when stolen from my plate. Apparently I am a flavor additive.
