Trump's German Heritage

Yet another fallacious post. The assumption that the only way to accomplish deportation is the most negative one, the one that gets you to NAZI the quickest...

It is a quite expedient political Socialist sophism, but that is all that it is, a political tactic.

As I said before, it is the same as Obama saying that there were only two choices, a very bad deal and war. Since he is the good guy, he chose the bad deal and anyone who called it a bad deal were clamoring for war. Similarly, if you talk about the issue of the mechanisms of deportation of illegals, then the dichotomy is that you cannot deport them, so you must legalize them, and if you do not agree with that, you want to physically go round them all up and put them in box cars and probably concentration camps, like that hero of the Left, FDR (D), did...

They won't answer that question. It's far too direct and would actually make them attach a phrase to Trump's plan. Whether he tries to deport them immediately, put them in a camp or send them back on mules through drug tunnels, someone still has to herd them like cattle.

I don't get the big deal with the phrase. Trump hasn't had a problem with it. It's an accurate portrayal.

Actually, I do get the big deal. Lance touched on it with the OP. They don't want to go "there". :)

his parents were german immigrants,

but he also married an athlete from a former soviet union country

So he hasn't said he wants to deport 11 million people over a two year period? I just "feel I know" he said that?

You know how Ay Jay does his usual semantics two-step in order to give the illusion of conversational substance.

You said what you said, but you really didn't exactly say what you said, what you said meant something different than what you really meant to say because you're a woman with emotions that feels with words instead of using words that tells others you're seeing the world as is, therefore he, as a man, can tell you what you really said instead of what you thought you said.

See what I'm saying?

*chuckle*

*chuckle at the chuckle*

;) ;)

I'm still wondering if you can produce Trump's plan to round them up...

Lance uses language as incendiary devices in order to set the wheels of the drama train in motion and to do so, he didn't need to go round up anyone, they came of their own accord...

;)

No stick required, just a carrot and a chance to bash "WepubWICCANs..."

If you have that written part of his plan that says he plans to go out and round them up, please show us, for I would interested in seeing that, because it would give me yet another reason to not vote for the guy, and trust me, I have plenty of reasons.

Maybe he will use the Star Trek transporter. Beam them to Mexico, Scotty!

Scotty will have to avoid having them come to a transporter room, though. That would be too much like rounding up. And we don't want you and Ish having an even bigger conniption over that!

The hypocrisy is quite funny, really, when you think about it.

You can afford to laugh. Then again, Rob Ford was probably funnier to Americans than to those in Toronto.

As for the thread topic, let's go over some of the key elements of the Trump campaign/philosophy:

* A cult of personality, stressing his unique ability to bend others to his will
* A focus on slogans and symbols
* A pledge to restore a mythical "national greatness," combined with an objectively weird insistence that the country is currently very weak and vulnerable
* A reflexively belligerent stance towards other nations
* Scapegoating of racial and ethnic minorities

Anything vaguely German sounding about all this? I may have to do some research.

So, you've capitulated...

;) ;)

Can you think of no other way to deport them than the round-up thing?

You're going to stick with a black-and white sophistry that belies the ability to nuanced thinking? I expect that out of Luk, he's not capable of much else, but you seem to think he's a deep thinker judging by your response, or is it just because he's endorsing your chosen sophism?

I LOVED ROB FORD!
leaving aside the funny "I have enough p… to eat at home",
finally a politician that seemed real, and not like a rehearsed puppet or male model

Yes. You omitted the one important similarity: The Socialist inculcation of the philosophies through Prussian-style education that takes away the anchor of morality from the people by telling them you cannot believe in anything in order to get the mob to fall for anything...

THAT! is the Ominous Parallel.

Deport 11 million people over a two year period without "rounding them up"? You tell me, AJ.

Really? Nothing comes into your pretty little head?

Well, for starters, we know how the Progressives and other assorted Libtards feel about big business, a nice start would be to criminalize the hiring of illegals and dry up their employment opportunities while at the same time actually enforcing Federal law and punishing sanctuary municipalities. That leads to self-deportation, unless, of course, Mexico builds a wall. They are MexiCANs, after all.

Another good thing would be to enact laws that lead to jail time for illegals when they interact with law-enforcement and then escort them back to Mexico after they serve their time.

I mean, this is all stuff that Mexico already does and they're simply not over-run with illegals...

If you cannot work, you cannot hide and you can no longer expect government benefits other than three hots and a cot in a penitentiary, then you can probably get the hell out just as easily as you got in.

Make it illegal to hire illegals which is already illegal? Self-deportation? MORE laws making it illegal to be illegals? Jailing more illegals? (which should never be confused with "rounding up")

11 million illegals over 2 years????

Seriously? LMFAO!

You don't read very well, and really suck at interpretation. Not to worry, you're in the same camp as the press.

Let's start with the word 'deport.' The preferred definition is;

1. to expel (an alien) from a country; banish.

Note that NO specific means of doing so is given, express or implied.

Second definition;

2. to send or carry off; transport, especially forcibly:

Now we have an stated means, but again note that it is not to the exclusion of any other method.

No job, no prospect of a job, no welfare? They'll be leaving like rats from a sinking ship. We know this because we've already seen it work. You cut them off from any means of support and they'll be gone...........rapidly.

This should be our southern border Immigration Plan

Laws are necessary to have an orderly society, when you pick and choose there are consequences (unless your a politician or a big donor to either party).

1) Every illegal alien should be deported. I don't care if you sneaked in out of an "act of love". Your ass should be deported for because you ...

a) came without our prior consent.
b)showed total disregard for the laws and the citizens of this country
c) Jumped the line ahead of people who are following the immigration process.
d) many of you are not paying taxes because your working for cash.
e) your being deported out of an "act of love" for the people already here.

2) We should develop a guest worker program for people that just want to work to send money back home to their family. It should be streamlined and a person must some basic criteria.

a) you get finger printed, photographed and a health screen (just like we did at Ellis Island).
b) All criminals are denied entry, if you have an illness your automatically denied but can reapply when you recover.
c) you will get an id issued and you must check in every 30 days.
d) Your work permit is only good for 6 months. If you have not been arrested for committing a violent crime ( in which case its an automatic deportation) your permit will automatically be renewed (when you check in at your last 30 day period).

The technology already exists to put in a system which could accomplish this. We could build immigration complexes along the border on Mexico's side of the border were people apply (staffed with Mexican and American staff working together).

When someone meets the criteria They hop a bus to the us side to our entry center where we run a 2nd check on them to see if they are wanted for crimes l (in case some records were "fixed" in Mexico). This will also provide redundancy to make sure nobody slips thru.

The check in system can be accomplished with kiosks set up at malls , government buildings or high traffic shopping centers (remember the old photo mat booths?). There would be stand alone machines, dedicated to just that. Think ATM. You swipe your card and you either get reauthorized for another 30 days. If it says pending that means immigration is coming for you but we don't want you to run. The check in periods become less frequent if you stay out of trouble .

I would build the border wall big enough for someone to walk atop , enclosed air conditioned observation posts along the wall equipped with cameras and comm equipment, sensors to detect tunneling. A small barracks, garage, housing for the border patrol personnel at various determined points ( let the military oversea the construction they're good at planning shit). There could be an access point for vehicles to exit and go apprehend smugglers or evil doer's.

My last and most important point, if your an employer and you hired an illegal (someone without the proper authorization to be working in the country) and you get caught, You get jail time and your assets seized.

We have a Temporary Worker Program in Canada.

People can renew for up to 7 years total as long as they are working on the books, paying taxes, no criminal activity.

They have regular check-ins with the Gov.

After that, they have to leave.

They can of course re-apply after they leave.

Not sure why the USA hasn't done that.

Dude, Trump has said he will deport 11 million people in 18-24 months. Tell me how he does it without "rounding up" people.

Go.

Perfect, we follow the Canada model with a few old fashion adjustments (meaning boot in the ass and stick upside the head penalties for employers and guest workers alike).

I know it's hard for you to imagine, but the USA doesn't have a monopoly on Peace, Order & Good Government.
