There is a difference between legal and illegal immigration and the Left (seemingly including Canada does not believe that the word illegal exists.) My fraternal family is German and they came here too, violating not one single law during a time when America had no laws about immigration. However with the rise of the Progressive (Socialist) movement in America, which copied its German counterpart, Nationalism rose to the forefront and all sorts of immigration laws and quotas emerged. Trump is not a Republican, he is a Progressive Nationalist running on a populist platform in order to elect Hillary Clinton.

Actually Canada rigorously enforces it's immigration laws, which is what makes Lances posts on the subject so ridiculous.

Oh, and done right 75% are going to self-deport. No bus/train/plane ticket required.

There is no history there to repeat, at least not enough to claim a cycle of any sort.

I would say we've always been an oligarchy aping at being a Republic when at best such things are very rare and prone to falling apart because they are unstable.

No I would not say we are offering low hanging fruit to those who will come in and vote for more fruit. The facts seem to run counter to this, making it more obvious that we are essentially finding ways to keep those coming into the country poor for the benefit of those at the top.

So no, they are not picking our pockets. We may lack the whips of our. . .well not mine at least not any of mine that are considered official kin. . .ancestors but they are essentially slaves. Which honestly is an entirely different conversation. You like to keep bringing up random unrelated things dontcha.

Your income taxes do not go to other benefits? The losses of your local hospitals do not show up in your billings?

That's such a fantastic misunderstanding of basic history that it's frightening. Let's for the moment pretend that a government that at the time specified you had to be land owner and while white and male were not codified in law they certainly were in practice would qualify as a Republic not an Oligarchy. Let's also pretend for the sake of argument that the American Revolution as taught in 5th grade is the true story and not the abridged version.

All of the countries that had formed colonies in the US were monarchies and had been for centuries. Where is this constantly repeated cycle of wish you speak?

Yes they go into education. As well they should. They also pay for lots of other benefits as well they should. Again you keep bring in bullshit.
