I hope everyone is remembering 9/11 on this day in your own ways. I know I am and still very sad about what happen that day.

I remember i was in grade 6 when it happened. Our teacher wheeled in a tv and we watched the news about it. I remember her telling us that this was huge and would be something that will never be forgotten in history. Pretty crazy how much I remember of that day even though I was just a kid that couldn't really grasp the significance of the event. What the Kennedy assassination was for my parents' generation 9/11 is for mine.
I remember being down there days after....i remember being on patrol...being at hospitals..everyone waiting for survivors..blood donations pouring in...and no survivors showed.....i remember the west side highway having supplies and food and water and people lining the streets as buses of rescue workers drive southbound into what pictures and video just cant make u comprehend...i remember 12 cops from an Indian reservation in North Dakota driving 48 hours nonstop to NYC, from an area where they worked which had 1 traffic light, just to do whatever they could...never forget is right...this was my generations Pearl Harbor....
