Once I saw this dude eating a full container of hot sauce-drenched lunch on a subway bench while waiting for a train and this dingy homeless dude in rags came up to him, asked him if he could have some of it and when the man refused, the homeless dude just stood there in front of him watching him eat.

I turned away at that point, couldn't watch anymore. Eventually the train came but I don't know what happened to either of them.
