Trump

What Kaili Joy had to say about it, in part.

And what happens if Trump has his fingers crossed behind his back when he scrawls “DONALD J. MOTHAFUCKIN’ TRUMP, YO” in blood next to Priebus’s name? Does Trump go to Republican jail, for breaking his promise to forsake all others? Does he get a time-out? Does he have to pay a fine? Does he have to write “I will have no other Gods before the RNC” on the chalkboard eleventy times? Does he have to — gulp! gasp! SHUDDER! — go live in Mexico?!?!?

Or does Trump simply laugh to himself about what a bunch of weak pansy losers those RNC guys are, because sure, WINK WINK, he’ll sign his name on some silly scrap of paper, no problem! Hell, he’s signed marriage certificates that certainly didn’t bind him to anything. You guys think your little “loyalty pledge” will make any kind of difference to Trump or stop him from doing whatever the hell he wants, including running as third-party candidate and saying “Jeb sucks!” all day long, every day, between now and November 2016, if that’s what he wants to do?

She may have a point. :)

^^^^ That shit cracks me up.

Honestly I would feel safe assuming that Deeznuts is largely people who'd vote Hillary if push came to shove. They are almost definitely made up (primarily) of young people. I can't imagine anybody over the age of say 35 honestly checking Deeznuts even as a joke.

Either way I'm still not buying that Trump is going to actually win the nomination. I have to have faith that sooner or later the Republican masses will stop having fun and take shit seriously.

I hope Trump fucking DESTROYS that worming fucking piece of shit Clinton. Hopefully the democrats grow a fucking spine and run Bernie.....but I'm not holding my breath.

Neither of these things are likely. As dumb as Americans are they aren't so dumb as to put Trump in charge and running Bernie is just giving up. It's like a suicide bomber except instead of sending him to the enemy you have a round table conference of all your top men.

We all know a Bernie nomination would result in a pure red map. California would go red for the first time since Reagan for fucks sake.

Fail.

You honestly think Bernie has a snowballs chance in Hell? I just want to make sure I'm hearing the industrial strength crazy properly here.

Trump Bodyguard Slugs Hispanican Protester, Seals GOP Nomination For Boss

Donald Trump’s security detail put its best fists forward in a confrontation with Latino protesters outside the Trump Tower Thursday, ripping away a protest sign and coldcocking a protester who tried to grab it back. When you watch this video, you may think you see a couple of assholes in suits assaulting a protester, but the average Trump voter will see an encouraging example of Making America Great Again.

See Bernie thread for encouraging news.:)

Reality TV Show Star Thinks Neurosurgeon Isn’t Qualified To Run America

Donald Trump continued his charm offensive this week. In addition to explaining that Jeb! Bush can never be president of America if he refuses to speako the English, Trump turned his attention to Ben Carson, who recently tied Trump for the first time in a poll of Iowa Republicans. In an interview with Tucker Carlson’s Internet Nexus For Worried White People, Trump said he thinks Carson is quite the nice fellow, but would probably not be a very good president because of his lack of relevant experience.

And here we are in the early polling, with these two doofuses in first and second place for the Republican nomination and no sign that the grownups are ever going to show up and take the conch away from the Lost Boys. All we need now is for Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst to show up and castrate some hogs, and it’ll be a beautiful cookout.

Dr Zoom like loooong sentences.

Ex-students say Trump University was money-sucking scam run by ‘frauds’

Former students of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s Trump University say that the millionaire real estate mogul’s college program was a money-sucking scam run by “a bunch of frauds.”

According to the New York Daily News, ex-student Robert Guillo, 75, said that every workshop and class he attended charged a fee and that the nature of the business became clear to him very quickly.

“As soon as I attended the first workshop, I knew I had been scammed,” Guillo said to the NYDN. “Every single workshop, they charged you another amount. Everything was to get you to spend more and more and more.”

Trump U a fraud?

Oh my!

Tom Brokaw: If I had to cover Donald Trump every night as a newscaster, ‘I’d call in sick’

Retired NBC anchorman Tom Brokaw expressed great relief that he is out of the news business while appearing at the National Book Festival on Saturday to promote his latest book A Lucky Life Interrupted, telling the crowd he’s glad he doesn’t have to talk about Donald Trump on television every night.

According to tweets from multiple sources captured by Business Insider, a relieved Brokaw told the assembled press and fans: “If I were there now, and leading with Donald Trump every night, I would call in sick”

:D

Or competent, IMHO.:)

The problem is that's not really possible to gauge. I don't believe that running a big business where even if you do have a board and stock holders you're still not negotiating in the same way a president is. You're not a strict dictator but it's still not the same. If I'm not going to say that Trump (or anybody else) gets to say "I'm fit to be president because I run the 5th largest company in the world" I'm also not going to renounce someone because a company didn't flourish under them. And honestly all I've got is word of mouth on that anyway having never done my due dilegence on the claims made about her. (Which is why I don't repeat them, usually not even in a question format.)

Fiorina and the criminal class guy are two-headed geeks. Trump is Patton, and the rest are geldings and proud of it.

To qualify for President you gotta be 35 years old and American. To be elected President you gotta be George Patton or Boy George but not at the same time.

Trump Is Right on Economics

Trump Is Right on Economics ... sez MR. Paul Krugman. An interesting observation which is showing the fissure in the GOP (and why it will be exploited by the BERN! OK the Bernie part was mine but Krugs was all but saying it)

Trump is Right!

Well that's a fairly interesting interpretation but hell that's the title he went with so sure. The summary is thus, Trump does or at least did support some form of socialized health care at some point in the past. I admit to not hearing every speech he's given yet and hell maybe he's played the "Obamacare is crap and I could make it great card" which is a valid card even if you know what his followers probably think when they hear it. He has been for higher taxes (at least on investors) which I will give him credit for and I think i have before but maybe not.

That doesn't amount so much to Trump being correct on economics as having a plan.

War Hero Donald Trump Was Most Terrific War Hero In Prep School

We finally know why Donald Trump never cared so much for war guys who got captured: When he was in the military, he never got captured, so why should he think all that much of guys who were? Now, you might think that Donald Trump, who got a bunch of draft deferments during Vietnam, has never been in the military, simply because he never served in the U.S. armed forces in any formal capacity. But he feels like he’s been in the military, because his parents sent him to military school, so shut up already.

Oh yeah, Military school is 'just like the Army', NOT!

Mr. Trump’s preoccupation with winning — at anything and everything, big or small — dominated his youth. His mentor at the New York Military Academy, Theodore Dobias, called Mr. Trump “a conniver, even then.”

Trump is the biggest Asshole in the pack assholes running for President!

http://money.cnn.com/2015/09/09/media/donald-trump-rolling-stone-carly-fiorina/index.html
According to writer Paul Solotaroff, he was sitting with Trump watching a newscast when a video clip zoomed in on Fiorina.

"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?" Trump said to Solotaroff. "Can you imagine that, the face of our next president."

Trump added, "I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

The quotes stirred controversy on Twitter Wednesday evening. A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign declined to comment.

But Trump said on CNN's "New Day" Thursday morning that he was talking about Fiorina's persona, not her physical traits.
I think Donald took lessons on how to "speak American" from Sarah Palin.

It's gems like these that make me almost miss Palin.

"Only in an Orwellian Obama world full of sparkly fairy dust blown from atop his unicorn as he’s peeking through a pretty pink kaleidoscope would he ever see victory or safety for America or Israel in this treaty," Palin told the crowd that had gathered outside of the Capitol Wednesday to protest the deal.

"This treaty will not bring peace," she added. "You don’t reward terrorism. You kill it. You don’t lift sanctions, you crack down on their assets. You cut off their oil and drill baby, drill for our own."

“Thank you for gathering to uphold the promise that was made, the promise of never again,” Palin told the crowd. “And thank you for gathering as we can because we are still a free people. And if you love that freedom, think of that.”

She continued: “Oh and you know, since your president won’t say it, since he still hasn’t called off the dogs, we’ll say it. Police officers and first responders all across this great land, we got your back! We salute you!”
