Nah, some of the meet & greet/flirt games are the fastest way.
Most only need a five character reply and are active enough that, bouncing between two-four threads, one can hit a hundred posts in the course of an evening.

There is a sticky thread at the top of the How To forum with a number of commonly asked questions, I believe this is one of them. As to how to get your posts up to 100, well, that depends on your preferences. If you like meaningless posts and you've got a thick skin, then head to the open forum, but be warned, it isn't for the feint of heart. If you like meaningful posts, then stick around the HT forum and participate in the active threads here.

regarding not knowing what sort of...

...photo to use as your avatar: if you've explored this site at all, you'll find that almost anything goes. some people put text (like you did), some put their photo, some (like me) put clever little images (ok, mine's not clever, just little), and some put pictures of their naughty bits. it's really up to you and i tend to think of it as somewhat of an expression of your personality...

so find something cool and have fun! and welcome to lit

Very nice profile pic! As far as an avatar - look around and see what some others have done (I'm not a lady).

You could use a Facebook type profile pic. You could use something to express an interest or fetish of yours. Or you could create a teaser pic. It all is up to what you feel comfortable with and how you want to portray yourself, keeping in mind that your avatar is sort of the first thing people will see of you as they browse a thread.
