Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but if you are unable to submit a story (after filling out fields, clicking Preview, I see a blank\empty php page) send a PM to Manu.
This happened to me in Firefox - not able to test it in IE yet. It may be related to work being done to site. Or it could be an issue with my machine. Not sure.
Anyway let Manu know if you have same problem.

Thanks for the report and sorry about the problem.

I am trying to reproduce the blank page issue, but I can't make it happen here. Are you entering text into the form or uploading a file? If it's a file, what format?

If anyone else reading this is having a similar problem (blank preview on submit), please let me know as well.

Thank you.

Yeah I didn't even get to the submit button. My issue was clicking Preview bringing me to the blank page(no DB connection message). Either way it sounds like they are aware of the issues. I'll wait a few days and try again.

Yes pasted text into the form. It had html formatting in it. Bold here and there. Line breaks. But that wouldn't cause the issue right?

Just got an error 505 message when I hit submit on a story, but it's on my pending list. That's been one of the problems going for a couple of months.

I had submitted a story a few weeks ago (3?) using Firefox (v. 29.0.1) and had no problems. I copied and pasted my story into the box then made minor formatting changes since I write in Notepad which always adds weird line breaks.

No errors of any kind no matter how many times I did a preview.

If you get the db error message, just hit refresh. Not back, refresh. That should then bring up the preview with everything there.

Even if you don't get the DB connection error, try hitting refresh.

What I got today wasn't the DB error; it was the 505 error the system was giving before it got bored and started another series of error messages.
