Why do the beach volleyballey players wear those things stuck to their shoulders/knees/backs?

I've never seen them in any other sport, and can't believe something stuck to you skin provides any structural support to your joints.

Maybe they are like those magnetic bracelets. And astrology.

i've seen them used in several other sports. tennis is a big one.

I've been taped up before. It wasn't the tape itself, it's how it was applied to support my aching sciatica. I had relief for three days as it healed. I don't know...maybe it was a placebo.

It was a bitch to tear it off though. Two feet long strips of tape and all those little hairs off the back of my thighs.

Wow. That ignore feature is very handy.

Just for a day, I'd like the fascist political threads to have to be word-free and illustrated only, and the picture threads to be described verbally without a single image.

If NeverEndingJen had to express itself visually, I imagine it would look like Pollock, but without the formal rigidity.

Apparently approaching an eighteen year old girl and asking her, "Do you wanna make $77 the easy way?" is frowned upon around here; who knew?

Jack the Dripper?

I don't know who that is.

Maybe that's what it means by talk of slashing welfare and cutting benefits. It's all very knifey, when you come to think of it, that right-wing shock-jock talk.
