Had to help Princess with her first biology homework. Actual premise:
Bart has decided that microwaving mice for ten seconds will make them stronger, so he takes ten mice and microwaves them for 10 seconds each...
Then he performs experiments on them and a non-nuked control set of ten other mice and the student is supposed to identify aspects of the experiment such as dependent and independent variables and evaluate the meaning of the outcomes.
I guess it is assumed that a mouse will survive ten seconds of microwaving and that that is as valid a way of conducting research as ripping a baby apart to get to its innards. Maybe it's just a not-so-subtle effort at desensitizing the young impressionable mind.
Anyone here tried microwaving a mouse?
