So my personal view is: Sometimes you come across a person who appears to hold extreme views on only One issue. But on a closer look, you can see that their extremism cuts across multiple domains.

But you are talking about Radical femminists. Don't know about the US, but I read some of the stuff written by more moderate femminists, and they seemed… moderate.
