I wish I had a nicely shaped head, I'd shave it in a heartbeat. More like 8 or 9 inches getting chopped off tonight, poor Ginger gets the brunt of all my hair when I toss and turn in bed.

Well I used to hate it with a passion. Then I re-watched a few years back and found I didn't. Yes, she's shite in it but some of it is good. Pacino is still good in it. And I love his silent scream at the end. Awww.

Mind you he was probably screaming at her acting.

Pacino is like pizza. Even when he's bad he's still good.

Even he nor Andy Garcia could save that script though.
Maybe I need to give it another watch just to make sure.
 
Her fiancé died a few weeks ago, less than a month before their wedding date and she's already going on dates with new guys.


I get that everyone grieves differently but...wow.
 
Aren't we about due for another attempt at a big screen adaptation of Dune? I mean, you'll never actually trump casting in Lynch's version - how can you do better than lithe, sweaty Sting in his little blue man-panties as as Feyd-Rautha? - but, by God, there's gotta be a studio crazy enough to try. They just have to find their sci-fi Peter Jackson with a big ol' Shai-Hulud boner.

Well that's true. Although I hate pizza.

Hmm. I guess it's the scenes he's in. When he makes his confession, when he's showing his home to Kay etc. They are still really great scenes and he is fabulous in them. And I like Garcia's performance in it too. And I love how Talia Shire's character has become the one to fear.

Her though. Fuck me. :(

And compared to 1 and 2, yeah it's nowt to write home about.
 
Flagg Hill, while not my favorite rum, makes a nice drink with our homemade marinated cherries and a splash of diet.

The Special Reserva Bacardi that we bought in Puerto Rico and brought back with us because they don't sell it here, yet.

But I also enjoy Zaya Gran Reserva, Ron Zacapa and Pyrat XO Reserve. The Goslings Special Reserve we picked up recently is also very good...it has a sharper molasses flavor.
