Well, it was when I was given an award for being an outstanding mentor to a young person. I was very touched that he nominated me, and even more impressed when I won. It was, honestly, a moving experience.
Who made a difference in your life?
My junior AP English teacher. She was the most important educator in my life. She made me unashamed to be passionate about things. She was the first person to treat me like an adult. She was the first person who ever read my writing. And she wasnt afraid to tell me it was "stupid movie stuff." if it wasn't for her, I would've been an engineer. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't know how to consider who made a difference in my life.
Which accent, foreign to you, do you mimic the best?
